Fly Fishers of Fame has been published by Medlar in conjunction with the family of Peter Keen.
This book is a tribute to nine fly fishermen - men who have been an inspiration to the author and to many a fly fisherman. In Fly Fishers of Fame, Peter Keen gives a potted biography of each and examines the skills or/and the research that qualifies them as role-models for modern-day fly fishers. The book does not attempt to provide a comprehensive listing and analysis of the greatest fly fishers; it is both subjective in its selection and personal in its approach. These mini-biographies of angling role-models will help to inform and inspire both novice and experienced fly fishers.
Sadly, the author was not well enough to work with us during the book's production and died a few days after publication.
